The film follows the careers of gangsta rap group N.W.A. and its members Eazy-E Ice Cube and Dr. Dre. The film chronicles the group’s rise to success and the violence that occurred between them which ultimately led to their breakup. The film was released on August 14 2015 and grossed $200 million worldwide.
