After more than a decade at Fox News Greta Van Susteren is leaving the network.
The popular TV host announced her departure on Tuesday saying she had “decided it was time to move on.”
“I have enjoyed every minute of my time at Fox and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such great people” Van Susteren said in a statement. “I will always cherish the memories of my experiences and interactions with the people inside and outside of Fox.”
“I am thankful for the opportunities that Fox has provided me and I look forward to what the future holds” she added.
The news of Van Susteren’s departure comes just days after Fox News announced that long-time CEO Roger Ailes was stepping down amid sexual harassment allegations.
Ailes has denied the allegations but the scandal has rocked the network and led to a major shakeup in its management.
