Why Do Deer Sleep In My Yard

Deer are also attracted to yards that have a lot of cover such as trees shrubs and dense vegetation. This provides them with a place to hide from predators and escape the hot sun. Sometimes deer will even lie down in the shade of a tree or bush to take a nap.
