In 2016 Aaron Yoder one of the stars of the popular YouTube gaming channel Cow Chop announced his departure from the channel. While no specific reason was given at the time Yoder later stated in an interview that the decision was due to creative differences with the other members of Cow Chop.
Since its inception in 2015 Cow Chop had been one of the most successful channels on YouTube garnering over 2 million subscribers and hundreds of millions of views. However behind the scenes there was apparently tension between Yoder and the other members of the channel. In an interview with YouTuber Adam Kovic Yoder revealed that he had felt creatively stifled by the group dynamic of Cow Chop and that he had begun to feel like he was just going through the motions.
After much deliberation Yoder decided to leave Cow Chop in order to pursue his own creative projects. While he has not ruled out a return to the channel in the future he is currently focusing on his own YouTube channel AR12Gaming.
Since his departure Cow Chop has continued to be successful but many fans still miss Aaron Yoder and hope that he will one day return to the group.
