Since the release of the first Sing movie in 2016 people have been wondering who will play the fox in Sing 2. The answer may surprise you!
According to an interview with producer Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri the fox will be played by none other than Taylor Swift.
“We are thrilled to have Taylor Swift on board to play the role of the fox in Sing 2” Meledandri said. “She brings charisma energy and an incredible voice to the character and we can’t wait to see what she does with the role.”
This news is sure to excite Swift fans who have been waiting patiently for her return to the big screen since her last film role in 2014’s The Giver.
Swift is no stranger to voice acting having lent her voice to the character of Audrey in the 2014 animated film The Lorax. She also has experience in the music industry which will no doubt come in handy for her role in Sing 2.
The first Sing movie was a huge success grossing over $664 million at the box office worldwide. The sequel is sure to be just as successful if not more so with Swift on board.
