Who Plays Simba In The Lion King On Broadway

Simba is a young lion prince who is born into the Royal Family of the Pride Lands. He is the son of Mufasa the rightful king of the Pride Lands and Sarabi the queen.

Simba grows up in the Pride Lands learning the ways of the lion from his father and becoming good friends with Nala the daughter of Sarafina one of the lionesses in Mufasa’s pride.

When Simba is still a young cub Mufasa’s evil brother Scar kills Mufasa and Simba is forced to flee the Pride Lands leaving Nala behind.

Simba ends up in the jungle where he meets Timon and Pumbaa a meerkat and warthogwho take him in and teach him how to forget his past and live a carefree life.

Simba eventually learns that he must return to the Pride Lands and take his rightful place as king with Nala by his side.
