This book takes place during the 1940s. Roger Rabbit’s doppelganger is hired to investigate the murder of Rocco DeGreasy, a former cartoon syndicate owner. Roger was murdered in his own home, and the speech balloon on his body indicates that the killer was out to censor the star. Eddie’s mission is to catch the killer, protect the widow and find the truth about the murder. Baby Herman also plays a crucial role in the investigation.
