The Fox baseball announcers tonight are Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. Buck is in his 21st season as the play-by-play voice of the World Series on Fox while McCarver is in his 20th as the lead analyst. This will be their 14th time working together on the broadcast.
Buck and McCarver have called some of the most memorable moments in World Series history including Kirby Puckett’s walk-off home run in game six of the 1991 World Series Derek Jeter’s “Saved By The Dive” catch in game five of the 2001 World Series and David Freese’s walk-off home run in game six of the 2011 World Series.
Buck and McCarver will be joined on the broadcast tonight by reporters Ken Rosenthal and Erin Andrews. Rosenthal is in his 17th season as a Fox baseball reporter while Andrews is in her fifth.
The foursome has worked together on some of the biggest moments in recent baseball history including the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series in 2016 and the Houston Astros winning the World Series in 2017.
They’ll be calling tonight’s game seven of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Boston Red Sox. First pitch is scheduled for 8:09pm ET.
