The farm is currently owned and operated by the Johnson family and is open to the public for tours events and overnight stays. The farm includes a dairy barn milking parlor farmhouse and other outbuildings. The farmhouse was built in 1796 and is a two-story five-bay limestone dwelling with a gable roof. The dairy barn was built in 1854 and is a three-story banked barn with a gable roof.
The farmhouse and dairy barn are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The farmstead is also designated as a National Historic Landmark.
