Deer Isle is a town in Hancock County Maine United States. The population was 1975 at the 2010 census. It is located on an island of the same name off the eastern coast of Maine. The island is connected to the mainland by two bridges one carrying U.S. Route 1 and the other carrying Maine State Route 15.
