Early life and education
Earhardt was born in Spartanburg South Carolina on September 20 1976 to Lew and Cissy (née Presley) Earhardt. She has a younger sister Elise. She is of English Irish Scottish and German descent.
Earhardt graduated from Shannon Forest Christian School in 1994. She attended Florida State University on a softball scholarship and graduated in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. While at FSU she interned for The Pentagon Channel.
Career
After college Earhardt worked for the local CBS affiliate in Tallahassee Florida. She later moved to Columbia South Carolina to work for WLTX-TV as a morning and noon anchor. She began her career with Fox News Channel in 2004 as a correspondent based in the Atlanta bureau. She later served as a frequent guest co-host and fill-in co-host on Fox & Friends First and for The O’Reilly Factor.
In 2007 Earhardt was moved to New York City to co-host Fox & Friends Weekend along with Clayton Morris and Alisyn Camerota. The following year she became a regular co-host of Fox & Friends after the departure of Caroline Glick. She has also guest-hosted America’s Newsroom and On the Record.
In 2017 after the departure of Gretchen Carlson Earhardt became co-anchor of Fox & Friends alongside Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade.
Personal life
In 2005 Earhardt married Kevin McKinney a former Clemson football player. The couple has a daughter Hayden born in 2015. In October 2019 Earhardt announced that she and McKinney had separated.
