Megan Fox was born on May 16 1986 in Memphis Tennessee. Her parents are Gloria Darlene (Cisson) and Franklin Thomas Fox. She has one older sister Kristi Branim Fox. Her father a parole officer and her mother divorced when Fox was three. Her mother later remarried and Fox and her sister were raised by her mother and her stepfather Tony Tonachio. Fox was born with heterochromia iridum or two different-colored eyes (her left eye is green while her right eye is brown). In 2004 she made her return to mainstream cinema in the teen comedy “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” and co-starred in the direct-to-video horror film “Crank: High Voltage”. After starring in the 2006 horror film “Zombie Strippers” she starred in the 2007 thriller “The Kingdom”.
Fox had a breakout role in the 2007 live-action film “Transformers” based on the toy and cartoon franchise of the same name. Her portrayal of Mikaela Banes the love interest of Shia LaBeouf’s character Sam Witwicky was praised by critics and audiences alike. She reprised the role in the 2009 sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and again in the third film “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” in 2011.
In 2008 Fox appeared as herself in the comedy “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People” based on the book of the same name by Toby Young.
