According to the Missouri Department of Conservation deer season starts on November 12th and lasts until January 15th. The season is divided into four parts: antlered deer either-sex deer antlerless deer and late antlerless deer.
The first part of the season from November 12th-26th is only open to hunters who possess an antlered deer permit. This is the only part of the season where antlered deer may be harvested.
The second part of the season from November 27th-December 11th is open to hunters with either-sex deer permits. This is the only part of the season where either-sex deer may be harvested.
The third part of the season from December 12th-January 7th is open to hunters with either-sex or antlerless deer permits. Antlerless deer may only be harvested during this part of the season.
The fourth and final part of the season from January 8th-15th is only open to hunters with antlerless deer permits.
