What Is Fox Day At Rollins

Fox Day at Rollins is a time-honored tradition that brings the campus community together to celebrate the start of the academic year. on this day new and returning students gather on Fox Lawn to enjoy live music food trucks and Rollins spirit! This year Fox Day will take place on Tuesday August 20th from 11am-2pm.

The tradition of Fox Day dates back to the early days of Rollins College. In the 1800s new students would arrive on campus by boat and be greeted by their fellow classmates. The students would then celebrate by decorating their boats and sailing them down the Fox River. Today Fox Day is a celebration of the start of the academic year and a time for students to come together and enjoy the Rollins community.
