These comments did not sit well with Fox News executives who were already under fire for their handling of the pandemic. On March 12 Fox News host Shepard Smith announced his departure from the network reportedly because he was unhappy with the network’s coverage of the pandemic.
Just days later on March 17 Regan announced she was leaving Fox Business. While Regan did not give a specific reason for her departure it seems clear that she was not happy with the direction Fox News was going in.
Since her departure Regan has been relatively quiet. She has not made any public statements and has not been active on social media.
