-2 empty plastic soda bottles

-Funnel

-Ruler

-Pencil

-Black felt tip marker

First cut the bottoms off of both soda bottles. Next use the funnel to fill one bottle up with sand rice or small rocks. This will be the ostrich’s body.

Next take the other bottle and cut it in half. These will be the ostrich’s legs. Tape the legs to the body making sure that the bottoms of the legs are even with the bottom of the body.

Now use the ruler and pencil to draw a beak on one of the bottle caps. Cut the beak out and then tape it to the front of the ostrich’s head.

Finally use the black felt tip marker to draw eyes on the ostrich’s head.
