How to Make an Ant
Ingredients
1/4 teaspoon active dry yeast
1/4 cup plus 1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons brandy
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons dark rum
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons bourbon
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons Cognac
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1) In a small bowl combine the yeast 1 teaspoon of sugar and flour. Mix well and set aside.
2) In a large bowl combine the remaining sugar cinnamon and salt.
3) Add the raisins currants apricots dates prunes figs almonds hazelnuts walnuts pecans pistachios Brazil nuts macadamia nuts cashews pine nuts and water. Mix well.
4) Add the yeast mixture and stir until well combined.
5) Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let stand in a warm place for 24 hours.
6) Add the brandy rum bourbon Cognac and vanilla extract. Mix well.
7) Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let stand in a warm place for another 24 hours.
8) Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
9) Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
10) Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
11) Bake for 4 hours or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
12) Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
