Simba is the main character of The Lion King a 1994 American animated musical film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The Lion King was directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff produced by Don Hahn and has a screenplay credited to Irene Mecchi Jonathan Roberts and Linda Woolverton. Eventually Simba grows up into a strong and handsome adult lion.
Mufasa’s evil brother Scar secretly plans to kill Mufasa and Simba so that he can become king. He manipulates Simba into going to the elephant graveyard again by telling him that he will never be king if he doesn’t go.
At the graveyard Scar orders the hyenas to attack Simba and Mufasa. Mufasa tries to save Simba but is killed in the process. Simba is left to believe that he is responsible for his father’s death and runs away in shame.
Scar becomes king and Simba is forced to live in exile in the wilderness. He meets a meerkat named Timon and a warthog named Pumbaa who teach him their philosophy of “Hakuna Matata” and he comes to forget his past.
Simba eventually meets up with Nala again who tells him that Scar is ruining the Pride Lands and that he is the only one who can stop him. Simba is reluctant at first but after seeing a vision of his father he realizes that he must take his rightful place as king.
He confronts Scar and defeats him in battle. Simba becomes the new king and the Pride Lands are restored to their former glory.
