This year the Grinch is coming to the Fox Theatre in Atlanta! Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical will be at the Fox from Tuesday December 4 – Sunday December 9.
Based on the classic Dr. Seuss book How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical features songs by Mel Marvin and Timothy Mason and a book and lyrics by Dr. Seuss himself. The show originally opened on Broadway in 2006 and was nominated for three Tony Awards.
The Grinch will be played by Nick Kroll in the Atlanta production. Kroll is best known for his work on Comedy Central’s The League and as the voice of Leonard in the Despicable Me movies.
Rounding out the cast are Anna Maria Perez de Tagle as Cindy-Lou Who Wally Dunn as Mayor May Who and Charles Shaughnessy as Narrator.
