So why are there so many snakes in Metal Gear Solid?
Well there are a few theories. Some people believe that Kojima is simply obsessed with snakes and that he includes them in his games as a way to pay tribute to his favorite animal. Others believe that the snakes represent the enemies that Snake must overcome and that their abundance is a symbol of the challenges he’ll face.
