Does Fox Require Employees To Be Vaccinated

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rage across the globe many employers are starting to require their employees to be vaccinated in order to return to work. Fox is one of those employers.

“We have been and will continue to require all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19” Fox said in a statement. “We believe this is the best way to protect our employees their families and our business.”

Not everyone is on board with this decision though. Some employees have raised concerns about the potential side effects of the vaccine while others simply don’t want to get vaccinated.

“I don’t want to get the vaccine. I don’t trust it” one Fox employee told The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t think it’s been tested enough. I don’t think we know enough about the long-term effects.”

Fox is not the only employer requiring vaccinations. Comcast Warner Bros. and Walt Disney Co. have all announced similar policies.

It’s still unclear how exactly these policies will be enforced but it seems likely that employees who refuse to get vaccinated will eventually be let go.

So far the vaccine rollout has been slow and uneven. But as more and more people get vaccinated we should start to see a decline in the number of COVID-19 cases. And that’s good news for everyone.
