De Aaron Fox House

In the early hours of February 26 2003 a fire destroyed the home of renowned artist and art collector Aaron Fox. Though no one was injured in the blaze the home and all of its contents were lost including many works of art by Mr. Fox himself.

The cause of the fire was never determined but it is believed to have started in the garage where Mr. Fox kept a number of his paintings. The fire quickly spread to the rest of the house gutting the entire structure.

In the wake of the tragedy Mr. Fox set up a makeshift studio in his backyard and vowed to continue painting despite the loss of his home and all of his possessions.

In the years since the fire Mr. Fox has rebuilt his life and career and his paintings have been exhibited in galleries and museums all over the world. But the memory of that fateful day still lingers and the loss of his home and art collection is still felt by those who knew and loved him.
