Are Coral Snakes Dangerous

There are many different types of snakes in the world and some of them are more dangerous than others. One type of snake that is often considered to be dangerous is the coral snake.

Coral snakes are found in the southern United States Central America and parts of South America. They are not found in Europe Asia or Africa. Coral snakes are usually red yellow and black and they have a stripe pattern down their bodies.

Coral snakes are venomous snakes and their venom can be dangerous to humans. However coral snakes are not aggressive snakes and they will only bite humans if they feel threatened. If a coral snake bites a human the venom can cause paralysis respiratory failure and death.

There have been very few deaths from coral snake bites in the United States and most of those have been in children. Coral snakes are not considered to be a major threat to humans but they should still be treated with caution.
