When I first saw the title of this article I was a little apprehensive. I wasn’t sure what an ostrich had to do with life or how someone could write a review about it. But alas I was intrigued.
Halsey is a YouTuber who focuses on vegan and sustainable living. In this video she reviews an ostrich egg.
First off Halsey is really funny. She had me cracking up throughout the entire video. She’s also very knowledgeable about the ostrich egg industry and the sustainability of it.
The egg itself is huge. Halsey says it’s about the size of a human head. She also says that it’s the most nutritious egg in the world. It has twice the amount of protein as a chicken egg and more omega-3 fatty acids.
The taste is apparently similar to a chicken egg but Halsey says it’s more rich and flavorful. Overall she gives the ostrich egg a thumbs up.
