“Jackass” is rated R for crude and dangerous stunts and for graphic nudity. The movie is based on the television series of the same name which featured a group of young men performing dangerous and often gross stunts. The movie features the same group of young men and includes even more dangerous and graphic stunts than the television series.
The rating is due to the graphic nature of the stunts as well as the danger involved. Many of the stunts are designed to shock and disgust the viewer and they are often successful in doing so. The nudity is also graphic and is often shown in a sexual context.
The movie is not for everyone but those who enjoy watching people doing stupid and dangerous things will likely find it to be very entertaining. Just be warned that it is definitely not for the faint of heart.
